认识英语中的句子

句子是最高一级的语法单位，也是人们进行交流的基本语言单位。

今天，我们就来说说英语中的句子吧！

一. 完全句和不完全句

完全句：即 Full Sentence 指包括至少一个完整的主谓结构的句子。I signed the paper to get the license.

不完全句：即 Minor Sentence 指不具备完整主谓结构的句子。No somking！

二. 简单句、并列句、复杂句、并列复杂句

简单句 Simple Sentence 简单句只包含一个主谓结构而且各个成分均由词组构成。

The students have made better grades in the past few weeks.

并列句 Compound Sentence 两个或两个以上的简单句由并列连词或其他并列手段连接起来的句子。

Mary came to the party, but Mr and Mrs Sherman did not.

复杂句 Complex Sentence 某个句子成分直接由从属分句表示

I didn"t understand what he meant.

并列复杂句 Compound-complex Sentence并列句+复杂句=并列复杂句
