你可以不学习英语基础（但是不能不知道这些）

对于英语基础薄弱的临考生来说，已经没有时间去系统的学习英语，在此阶段，更重要的是抓住考试大点，本期我们一起来了解一下定语从句。

①关系代词

He whodoesn"t reach the Great Wall is not a true man. 不到长城非好汉。

②关系副词

（一）用that不用which

①先行词是不定代词（ something, ant, all ）

②形容词最高级/ 序数词

③先行词既有人又有物

④ the very (恰好) ， the only

This is the very book that I"m looking for.

⑤有两个定语从句，避免重复

They have set up a company which deals with the things that are related to the environment.

⑥当先行词和关系词同时作表语

Xi"an is no more the city thatit used to be.

（二）用which 不用that

①非限制性定语从句

特点：1）对先行词或主句补充说明，去掉他，句意也完整

2）主句从句之间用“ ， ”隔开

3）翻译时要单独一个分句

4）引导词不仅限于which ，根据句意和成分可选除了that, why 以外的引导词

His mother, wholoved him very much, died in 1818.

Football, whichis a very interesting game, is played all over the world.

②介词+关系代词引导的定语从句

基本结构： 介词+ which / whom

1）固定搭配

He shows me some old coins with which I"m not very familiar.

2）根据先行词或整个句子

We"ll never forget the day onwhich we climbed up to the Great Wall.

3）表示所属关系即整体中的一部分或全部，使用介词of ，且of前多由some, any, none, both, all, two, most, each, few, neither 等词语的修饰

That table has four legs, all of which are very short.

注：① of that(×)

②对于固定搭配若拆开后意思改变则不可以拆

This is the book which I"m looking for.

③复合介词短语+关系代词

He lived in a big house, in front of which stand a big tree.

（三） whose

基本用法：谁的、 whose + n.

The book whose cover is green is mine.

① whose+ n. 可与介词+关系代词转换

whose+ n. 1) 人：the+n.+of whom 2)物： the+n.+of which

②介词+ whose

（四） as

① as we all know = as is known

as we had expected = as is expected

as is reported, as is mentioned above, as is often the case 均表示“这是常有的事”

基本用法： when, where, why

① when = at/ on/ in which

where = at/ in which

why = for which

This is the housewhere I lived two years ago.

② where 可指代抽象模糊的地点（case, situation, position, condition, point, stage, scene）
