英语中作定语的主要是形容词（还有……）
学语言，必少不了对句法的了解，自然定语成分也在其中。
定语是用来修饰、限定、说明名词或代词的，是对名词或代词起修饰、限定作用的词，短语或句子。在汉语中通常表述为“……的”。
说起定语，仿佛脑海中就会闪现，“形容词”这三个字，其实英语中的定语，不单单只有形容词哦！

1.可做定语的词或短语

英语句子中，作定语的，除了最常见的形容词作定语外，还有代词、序数词、不定式、名词、动名词、分词及分词短语、介词短语以及从句都可以做定语哦。
2. 定语的位置
定语根据其所处的位置，可分为前置定语和后置定语。前置定语，即用在所修饰的词之前的词或短语；后置定语，则是用在所修饰的词之后的词或短语。
如：The bluecatdoesn’t like eating fish. (前置定语)
The coffeecupis hot. (前置定语)
The girlin redis my niece. (后置定语)
The cupbroken by Tombelongs to Harvey. (后置定语)
最后，我们再了解一个概念，既然定语是用来修饰、限定名词或代词的，那么一个句子来修饰、限定一个名词或代词，那这个句子就叫做定语从句喽。
