初中英语高频考点词汇too...to...的使用要点及句式转换

too...to...是初中英语经常考察的词汇。会出现在各种完形阅读中，是一个高频考点词汇，所以大家要引起注意。对于它的一些使用更是要牢牢掌握。主要从以下方面去理解掌握：一是句子中使用的成分是如何去运用的；二是关于相熟同意词语句式的转换问题，尤其要注意。

too...to…意为 “太······而不能······.”使用时,我们应注意以下几点:

(1)如果句子的主语和动词不定式的逻辑主语不一致,通常用for导出其逻辑主语.

请比较:

He is very excited .He can’t fall asleep.

=>He is too excited to fall asleep. 他太兴奋而睡不着.

The desk is very heavy .We can’t move it.

=>The desk is too heavy for us to move.这个桌子太重,我们挪不动.

(2)too...to...中to do 的宾语实质是前面的主语,故不可在后面加it.

例:

The question is too difficult for us to answer it.（×）

The question is too difficult for us to answer . (√ ) 这个问题太难,我们回答不出来.

(3)too...to...可以和so...that...或enough to进行转换.

例:

He got up too late to catch the early bus.

=He got up so late that he couldn’t catch the early bus.

=He didn’t get up early enough to catch the early bus.他起的太晚,而没赶上早班车.
