中考英语必备阅读技巧（如何猜词意）

中学生在平时学习当中或在中考的阅读过程中，遇到生词是无可避免的，这也是每年中考必考的题目，让学生根据文章提供的语境来推测单词的准确意思。这就要求学生要掌握一些猜词技巧与方法，提高对文章的阅读理解能力。

我们在日常的阅读学习中要学会如下几种猜词技巧：1.利用所给定义猜测词义。2.利用解释说明或同位语来推测词意； 3.运用构词法知识来推测词意； 4. 根据上下文提供的语境和关键信息点来推测词意，利用语境推测词意是这年英语考试的趋势。

英文词汇中也存在一词多义的现象，也是我常提起的旧词新义现象，有些词汇你非常熟悉，但是一定要慎重，一定要根据语境来判断词意，否则你就掉进了考试陷阱。

要结合具体的语境，根据上下文的意思正确理解单词，而不是单凭对词汇某一意义的记忆仓促判断其意思。英文单词的多种词性也是非常普遍的，因此要正确分析句子结构，比如根据单词的词性来分析名词的可数与否，有助于对句子的理解，从而提高对整篇文章的理解。
