使用想象力的经历相信在大家的生活中有意无意中都会出现，今天我选择的素材是关于”装修房子”。因为我觉得，当站在空荡荡的房间里，脑海中肯定会有慢慢的装修场景。这样展开话题会比较容易，尤其是那些有过这样亲身经历的同学，一定能滔滔不绝地说下去。即使没有，你也可以把自己当成室内设计师，想想该如何把一个空房子摆设出温馨的酒店感觉

关键问题在于，这个事情是一定要使用到想象力才能做的。

Talking about a time that I needed to use my imagination, the first thing popped into my mind is decorating my apartment. Two years ago, I have managed to get myself a two-bedroom apartment after years of hard work and money-saving. Even though I could only afford the down payment, I was quite excited when the key finally handed to me. I knew that this property is a reminder of me kicking off a new life, and I began busy preparing for the decorations. It was no easy job when standing in an empty room, not knowing what to put inside and what style I would like to have. It was rather mentally-demanding. Having done a lot of internet surfing and consultation from friends, I decided to paint the wall in a bright yellow color, as it gives off a warm atmosphere. I imagined that if the furniture pieces are in white color, it would match the ambience perfectly. What was challenging was the size and shape of the tables, sofa set and wardrobes that I needed to move in, so I used tapeline to get the precise numbers. Another difficulty was that I needed to think what color of curtains I would like to have in my bedroom and living room. At first, I pictured a few colors in my head and then went to the cloth market to search for the right fabric. The whole decoration lasted for over two months when the apartment was finally well-decorated with stylish furniture, nice-looking paintings on the wall, comfortable sofa and several green plants to make the room look lively. I also recorded the process on camera and posted my thoughts on social media to share with my friends. When I saw their likes and positive feedbacks, I began to have a sense of achievement.
