华慧老师教你如何用好过渡词句（使文章更流畅）

写作一直是各类英文考试的一个重要考点，也是我们华慧考博学员在复习过程的一个难以突破的点，尤其是近两年来，越来越多的学校采用申请—考核制度后，英语笔试的考查内容就更加倾向了翻译和写作这类主观题方向，因此我们应更加重视对主观题的复习。在给华慧考博的学员的写作辅导过程中，我们发现很多学生的作文有一个特点，每个句子的意思能表达清楚，语法也基本正确，但是一篇文章整体批改下来，就会发现不少句子与句子之间、段落与段落之间缺少流畅的过渡，导致整篇文章看上去像单个句子简单拼凑而成，逻辑性不强，这种情况下，我们就要多多的使用过渡词句，突出文章的层次感和逻辑性，因此，在写作的练习当中，文章应尽量使用过渡词句，合理地表达自己的思想，使阅卷老师能顺畅地评阅我们的作文，获得更多的得分机会。根据在文章中的作用，可以合理的使用以下过渡词句：

表先后顺序的逻辑关系词句：

first, firstly, first of all, inthefirstplace, inthefirstinstance, tobeginwith首先；secondly, inthesecondplace其次；atlast, finally, last, lastly, mostimportantly最后

表递进关系的逻辑关系词句：

apart from, in addition to, what"s more此外；both...and..., as well as即……又……

表转折或对比关系的逻辑关系词句：

tothecontrary, onthecontrary, quitethecontrary相反，正相反，恰恰相反；incontrastwith/to与……截然不同； it may be true as assumed by others，but I don"t.I believe that……别人可能认为这是事实，但我不是，我认为……

表因果关系的逻辑关系词句：

Owing to..., on account of..., because of...因为；for this reason因为这个原因；in order that（从句）为了……；we have reasons to believe（that）……我们有理由相信……；for this purpose为了这个目的；in this way，I believe（that）……如此我相信……；we can，therefore，come to the conclusion（that）……因此我们可以下个结论，那就是……

例证关系词句：

we can make clear from the above discussion（that）...由上列的讨论我们可以明了……；namely, that is, that is to say也就是说；to illustrate举例来说；take...as an example以……为例（来说）

表达观点的词句：

Besides, we should not neglect... 此外我们不应忽视……；in my opinion/view personally, as far as I’m concerned在我看来；to be frank, frankly speaking坦白地说；since then，I have found that... 从此之后我发现；in this light, if…, there can surely be no doubt（that）... 这样说来，假如……，当然毫无疑问地……

文章结尾表达总结的词句：

If one can really put the above points into action（practice）, 如果能实践以上几点……；all in all, in brief, in short简而言之；总的说来，总之inconclusion，tosumup，toconclude，tosummarize总之；to make/cut a long story short长话短说，简而言之；by doing these simple things, we surely can... 通过做这些简单之事，我们一定可以……
