John: I believe the island will take on a newer look in ten years, if everything goes well.

will be built...是一般将来时的被动语态，它是由“will+be+过去分词”构成。如：
A new school will be built here next year.
明年这儿将建成一所新学校。
14. I believe the island will take on a newer look in ten years, if everything goes well.
我认为，如果一切顺利的话，10年后海南会呈现出更新的面貌。
词组 take on a new look意为“面貌焕然一新”。如：

newer是new的比较级。
15. Certainly. 那是肯定的。
副词 certainly意为“无疑;确定;肯定”。如：

certainly与 surely可换用。

possibly为副词，同义词为perhaps。表示将来时间用介in。如：
