那么，我们今天就来看一下other、another相关的考点区分辨析及这两个词的所有用法详解。

我们先来讲一下这两个词的所有中考相关考点，区别就迎刃而解了。

一、other用法:

初中阶段other需要掌握的用法都在上面的思维导图中，下面我们来具体讲解一下：

(一） 、两者中的另外一个：

可以四种形式呈现,在同一语言环境中，前三种意思完全相同。

1、the other: other 为代词

I have two bags. One is new, the other is old.（直接给出前提：two）

我有两个包，一个是新的，另一个是旧的。

常见结构：one…the other

2、the other one：other 为形容词

I have two bags. One is new, the other one is old.

one 代替前面的bag

3、the other+ n.单数：other 为形容词

There are many trees on the other side of the road.（隐含前提：路有两边）

在路的另一边有许多树。

4、 sb"s (名词所有格或形容词性物主代词)+other+n.单数 : 注意前提还是两者之中的另一个。

当 other 前面出现名词所有格或形容性物主代词作为限定词时，the 不再出现， 二者用 其一即可，不要画蛇添足。

（二）、多者中的其他：

1、others=other +n. 复数：不固定范围的其他人或物

记忆技巧：当指复数概念时，other 没有s 的时候，少了点东西，怎么办，就得在后面加上名词。简单说成一句话：other指复数，无s加n常见结构：some…others…如：We should help others.=We should help other people.我们应该帮助别人。（没有固定范围）Some people like travelling by plane, others like travelling by train.一些人喜欢坐飞机旅行，其他人喜欢坐火车旅行。

2、the others= the other +n.复数：固定范围内的其他人或物

There are fifty students in my class . Thirty students go to school by bus, the others(the other students)go to school by car.我班有50名学生，30名学生坐公交车上学，其他的坐私家车上学。（有固定范围：in my class）

3、sb"s (名词所有格或形容词性物主代词)+other+n.复数

my other friends

Lucy"s other shoes

4、数词+other+n.复数

John, Jim and three other students are absent today.

约翰、吉姆其他三名学生今天缺席。

5、some/many other +n.复数

I have some other good ways.Two buildings were destroyed and many others(other buildings) were damaged in the blast.在这次爆炸事件中，两座建筑物被毁，许多其他的建筑物被损坏。

6、any other+n.复数：

这里的any是 some的否定和疑问形式，意思是：一些其他的……

Do you have any other good ideas?

你还有其他的好主意吗？

Sorry, I don"t have any other ideas.

对不起，我没有其他的好主意了。

7、any other+n.单数=the other +n.复数：

这里的any不是一些的意思，而是任何一个，所以后面的名词用单数，这种用法用在肯定句中，在比较级的句子中常用。

I am taller than any other girl in my class.=I am taller than the other girls in my class.我比我班的其他女孩都高。

二、another用法:

（一）、 又一、再一、多者中的另外一个：没有二者前提或隐含条件。

another=another one=another +n.单数=one more

Would you like another drink（one）?

＝Would you like one more drink?

还想再来一杯吗？

解析：原来喝了一杯，在原来的基础上再来一杯，没有固定一定是两杯，只强调再来一杯，有可能还会有第三杯，所以不能用other。

（二）、one another=each other 彼此，互相

We often help one another.

我们经常互相帮助。

（三）、another+数词+n.(复数)=数词+more +n.复数 : 另外/还有……个……

I have another three questions.

=I have three morequestions.

我还有三个问题。

The work is too difficult. We need another fiveworkers.

=The work is too difficult. We need fivemore workers.

这个工作太难了，我们还需要五个工人。

三、辨析一: other、another

关键词：二者还是多者常见考试形式：1、隐含“二者”前提：

In my other hand, there is an apple.

在我的另外一只手里，有一个苹果。

2、直接给出“二者”前提：

I have two sisters. One is a worker, the other is a teacher.

我有两个姐姐，一个是工人，另外一个是老师。

3、表示建议的句子或购物：

Would you like another apple?

你想再来一个苹果吗？

This shirt is too big, could you show me another smaller one?

这件衬衫太大了，给我看一件小点的好吗？

4、无二者范围的单纯强调“又一、再一”：

Success means you are able to go from one failure to another without losing your passion for the things you love.成功就是你能够克服一个又一个的失败却不失去你对你所爱的事物的热情。（没有确定failure就是两个）

四、辨析二：others, other + n复数, the others, the other +n.复数

1、是否固定范围：固定加the2、other是否有s：后无名词加sSome of the students in No. 69 Middle School are interested in science, and ________ are interested in English.A. the other student B. others C. the others D. other students解题思路：1、有in No. 69 Middle School,固定范围，选有the的，A和C2、 other有s不用加名词，答案C正确3、 答案A中指两者中的另外一个学生，是单数，不能选综合以上三点，选择C
