100块钱

Last week, Xiaoyu went to see the dentist and had a wisdom tooth pulled out.

上周小宇去看牙医，拔了一颗智齿。

After pulling out the tooth, the dentist said to Xiaoyu’s mum：“I am sorry, madam, but I shall have to charge you one hundred Yuan for pulling this tooth out.”

拔完牙后，牙医对小宇的妈妈说：“对不起，夫人，但是拔这颗牙我将不得不收你一百块钱。”

“ One hundred Yuan! Why so much? The writing on the wall says：‘Twenty Yuan for Per Tooth’!” Xiaoyu’s mum said.

“一百块！为什么这么多？墙上写着：‘每颗牙二十元’！”小宇的妈妈说。

“That is true.”answered the dentist, “but your daughter shouted so terribly and scared other four patients out of my clinic!”

“那倒是真的。”牙医回答说：“但是你女儿拔牙时叫得太厉害了，她把其他四个病人都给吓跑了！”

重点：人民币的单位Yuan是不可数名词，不可以加s；而美元dollar和英镑pound都是可以加s的。
