我们“阅读”下面的英语，我们在脑子里出现的“音形义”都必须是英语的。

1.说“音”必须是英语的比较好理解：你“用”中文发音，甚至中文“谐音”去“读”英语，这跟“英语阅读”首先就相差了不止十万八千里。

可是，偏偏就有人把英语读成“中文发音”的，这样的“英语阅读”正是“哑巴英语”的根源，都是自己一手造成的的。

2.说“形”也必须是英语的也好理解：英语“会读”却记不住“写”，这就是所谓的“文盲英语”：不识字，不会写。

3.讲到“义”必须是英语的，很多人就会“有异议”了：中文意思都不懂，如何“懂”英语？

这里“理由”听上去无懈可击，实则不堪一击。“义”如果是中文的，那么，前面的“音”对于多说人来讲也必定是中文的。这二者其实是同一回事，或者说是硬币的两面而已：既然能坚持“音”是英语的，又如何有“义”是中文的之英语阅读：《新概念英语》第三册英译英 L1 A Puma at large 4？

所以，“英语阅读”的实质，就是“音形义”都必须是英语的。

一、你会怎样“读”下面的英语？“音形义”都是中文的吗？

二、英语阅读：音形义都是英语的

1. If you do something immediately,you do it at once,you do it right away,you do it without delay.

把英语immediately的“义”读成中文“立即”，“立刻”谁不会？“读成”上面的英语就考验人了。

2. So,it immediately ran away when she saw it means It ran away at once,or ran away right away when she saw it

3. When you run away,you escape from it.

2) experts confirmed that a puma will not attack a human being unless it is cornered.

1.If you're very good at doing something,you're an expert on it.

2. If you confirm something,you mean something,or some opinion is true

这句英语有点难度，但这不是我们由此“依赖”中文的理由。

3.Human beings are mankind,or man

见到英语human beings时，你应该“记起来”英语mankind,man才对，但是，你偏偏只“记得”中文“人类”，这都是无效英语阅读，if any at all.

4.If you corner someone or something,you force them,or drive them into the corner of the walls,that means you give them no more chance or opportunity and they can do nothing but fight back against you.

这本来是很好的练习“用”英语，“说”英语的大好机会，可是，我们却偏偏把它“练成”中文，结果，英语的使用能力没有因为大量阅读而丝毫改变。
