根据我们之前讲过的好作文标准，我们必须按照三段式搭建作文结构。

第一段：问候（通用语）+写作背景（图中标红的第一句）+写作目的（图中标红的第二句）

第二段：第一，……；第二，……；第三，……；（邮件内容要全）

第三段：客套话（通用语）

据此，我们来看看两篇满分作文。

第一篇：

Dear Terry：

①How are you getting along these days? ②In your last letter, you asked me about being a guest to a Chinese friend"s home.③Now, I am writing to inform you of some relevant details.

④At the beginning, according to our tradition, you are supposed to arrive a little earlier so that you can help the family prepare the dinner, which is not only meaningful but also interesting.⑤Besides, you"re advised to bring some small gifts, such as a book or some flowers. ⑥What"s more, whenyou are enjoying the meal, you need to avoid making noises while chewing food.

作文得分点分析：

第3句：词汇用法加分，用"inform sb of……"替代简单词汇"tell"表达语义。

第4句：句式用法加分，用"you are supposed to do”替代“you should”；用“so that”引出结果状语从句，丰富了语义表达。用”,which"非限制性定语从句引出态度观点，丰富了内容表达。

第5句：句式用法加分，用"you"re advised to do" 替代”you should"，被动语态使用更加符合英文写作原则。

第6句：句式用法加分，用when和while引导时间状语从句，非常详细地表达了要点。

第7句：词汇、句法用法加分，"hopefully"比起"I hope"更加自信，同时又诚恳。使用常用句式”sth is + adj+ for sb to do sth"。

第8句：句式用法加分，用”I have the confidence that"引出一个同位语从句，比起常用的宾语从句"I believe that"更能体现学生对句法灵活运用程度。
