初中英语中 易混淆的（4 个介词：through past across 和 over）

初中英语中的介词，是中学英语学习的难点，也是经常出现在考试卷中的考点，今天说的三个介词，都有“通过、穿过”的意思，但是总是被混淆。

through

表示“穿过”的时候，如果使用 through，表示“从内部穿过”，往往是穿过一个有“框”的东西，比如门窗、树林、隧道等等。例如：

The thieves climbed into the kitchen through the window. 贼们通过窗户翻进了厨房。

After walking through the forest, they arrived at the small village. 穿过森林，他们到了那个小山村。

across

使用 across 表示“穿过”的时候，往往是从上面跨过，比如跑过草地、跨过马路等等，例如：

The dog is running across the grass after the cat. 那只狗正穿过草地追那只猫咪。

The children are helping the grandpa across the road. 孩子们正帮助哪位老爷爷过马路。

over

在表示“从……上面”穿过的时候，across 和 over 可以互换，但是表示“翻过”的时候，只用 over，例如：

The Sawyers are walking over the bridge. 索耶一家正在过桥。

The dog jumped over the fence into the garden. 那条狗跳过了篱笆进入了花园。

past

past 表示“从旁边经过”，可以和含有动词 pass 的句子替换，例如：

A girl went past me in a hurry. 一个女孩匆匆忙忙从我身边走过。

A girl passed me in a hurry. 一个女孩从我身边匆匆经过。

英语中的很多介词都有动态含义，当然是译成汉语之后，因为汉语多用动词，而英语多用介词。
