新概念英语二：第十课（学习笔记）

在本篇文章，主要是对新概念二的第十课中，有关重要知识点的归纳总结。

生词与短语部分：

1、instrument：乐器；精密仪器、器械。例如：surgical instrument（外科器械、仪器）

These precise surgical instruments must be used with care.（这些精密的外科仪器，使用时要细心）

2、key：琴键；钥匙、答案；关键。一般其后面的介词是to，即：key to（…的关键；…的答案；开…的钥匙），例如：the key to the question（这个问题的关键）。

除此key之外，还有：answer/path/entrance/solution to（回答/道路/入口/解决方案）。

3、shock：使不悦或生气，使震惊（多指不好的事）；震惊。

shocked：感到震惊的；shoching：令人震惊的；be shocked at/by（对……感到震惊）。还有表示震惊，以及它们的区别有：

shock：只指坏的，程度重；

surprise：可好可坏，程度不重；

astonish：使惊讶（有难以置信的情感在内）；

amaze：使惊讶（令人迷糊）；amazing：棒极的了。

4、allow：允许，让。有关常见的句子结构有：

allow sb to do sth（允许某人做某事）

例如：Mother allowed me to go to the park.（妈妈允许我去公园玩）

permit sb to do（允许某人做某事）

例如：The guards permitted me to bring my camera and tape recorder.（守卫允许我带上相机和录音机）

give sb permission to do（允许某人做某事）

例如：He give his litter brother permission to play his Ipad.（他允许他的小弟弟玩他的Ipad）

forbid sb to do/from doing（禁止某人做某事）

例如：I forbid Him to do that.（我禁止他这么干）

prohibit sb from doing（禁止某人做某事） ；

ban sb from dong（禁止某人做某事），尤其指立法上的禁止，很正式。

5、made in、made of、made from、made by的区别：

made in表示产地，例如：It was made in China.

made of表示用某种材料制成（看得出来原材料是什么），

例如：The blow is made of silver.

made from表示用数种材料制成（看不出原材料），

例如：Paper is made from trees.

made by表示制造人，

例如：This cake was made by my sister.

6、be made into、be made for的区别：

be made into（被做成什么）

例如：The cloth was made into a dress.（这块布被做成了一件衣服）

be made for（为什么而做）

例如：The coffe was made for you.（咖啡是为你准备的）
