初中英语八年级下册核心考点过去时态的since从句

过去时是初二英语下册要学习的一个时态，也是初二下册比较重要的一个知识点。同时也是中考必考的一个知识点，所以大家要引起注意，努力学习。多读多记，比较记忆，学会区分。

记住since的四种用法：

1.since +过去一个时间点。

例如：

I have been here since 1992. 1992年起，我一直在这儿。

2. since +一段时间+ ago.

例如：

We have been here since five months ago.我们在这儿，已经有五个月了。

3. since +从句。

since时间从句中,应理解为“自从该动作结束以来”

如:

Great changes have taken place here since he left. 自从他离开以来这里发生了巨大的变化。

Great changes have taken place in our hometown since you left. 你走后，咱们的家乡发生了巨大的变化。

*如果要表示从句的动作或状态延续至今,该动词需用现在完成时，有时也可以用一般过去时，但这时需要在since前加ever,强调与现在的联系

如:

I"ve known her since I have lived here(或ever since I lived here /#since I came here).自从我住到这儿以来我就认识她。（完成时）

I haven"t heard from him since he lived (或was) in Beijing.自从他离开北京,我没有收到过他的来信。（过去时）

注意：从句中使用延续性动词时，常容易误解

如:

How long is it since you smoked?你戒烟多久了(或你多长时间没抽烟了)?

4. It is +一段时间+ since从句。

例如：

①lt is three years since the old man died.那位老人去世已有3年了。

②It is five years since I joined the army.我参军已有五年了。

注意：

for后面接时间段而since后面接时间点。因为Since 用来说明动作起始时间，for用来说明动作延续时间长度。
