Theancient Chinese game of rock-paper-scissors is governed by three simple rules: 中国古老的“石头，剪子，布”游戏有三个简单的规则：

rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, paper beats rock.

On the face of it, the chances of winning are just one in three, but thatpresumes people pick rock, paper or scissors at random.
