1. fool around 闲游；虚度光阴

eg.: I don"t have time to fool around.

我没有时间瞎混。

2. for ever 永远

eg.: A thing of beauty is a joy for ever.

美好的事物，回味无穷。

3. for free 免费

eg.: They supply water to people for free.

他们给人们免费提供水。

4. for good 永久地

eg.: He will give up smoking for good and all.

他再也不吸烟了。

5. for the better 好转

eg.: The weather has changed for the better.

6. for the moment/present 暂时，目前

eg.: For the moment the rain had stopped.
