还记得短语动词 take to 后面是接动名词还是不定式吗？今天又多了一个关于 take 的短语动词 take in，它的用法丰富。

一、意为“收留，收养，留宿，接收（入学）”，例如：

We took in several refugees during the war.

战争期间我们收留了几个难民。

My wife has a bad habit of taking in stray dogs.

我妻子有个不好的习惯，就是收养流浪狗。

The academy takes in only four new students per year.

该学院每年只招收四名新生。

二、意为“欺骗，蒙骗”，通常用被动语态，例如：
