大学非英语专业，但爱好英语，经常听英语歌，看美剧，借这个机会把好听的英文歌分享给大家，每天一首，释义重点词汇，说说我对歌曲的理解。

Owl city《the saltwater room》

这首歌是欧美组合Owl city在2008年发行的，节奏轻快明媚，男女合唱歌曲。

歌曲有着清新调性，含义却很意识流，对歌曲每个人应该都有不同的理解。

我的理解是：歌曲中的男女声应该是恋人关系并且分隔两地，男主对女友有着深深的思念，分别让他感到厌倦和痛苦，就像掉进了一间深海的房子。在他陷入深深思考，开始动摇他们之间感情的时候，女孩的声音唤起了他的记忆，男生演唱的部分深沉困倦，而女声正如一股清流，一遍一遍问着他，如何维系他们的情感，告诉男生他们的爱情时间可以治愈所有的伤痛和苦恼。不能轻易放弃他们的感情，把一切的问题交给时间。但是，时间也可能断了他们的思念。歌曲好像并没有给出答案。

这首歌也许就是在唱异地恋时，两人思念的苦，和维系的难吧。正如歌中所说，时间会解决一切。
