疑问句有四种形式：

一般疑问句

特殊疑问句

选择疑问句

反意疑问句

凡是以情态动词 ( can，could，must，will，shall，may，might 等 )、助动词 ( do，does，did，have，has，had 等 ) 以及系动词 be ( am，is，are，was，were ) 开头的疑问句都叫一般疑问句

一般疑问句需以 yes 或 no 回答

Is she your mother ？

她是你母亲吗？

Was Tom here yesterday ？

汤姆昨天在这儿吗？

Do you work in a school ？

你在一所学校工作吗？

Did you go to school yesterday?

你昨天上学了吗？

Will they go to London for a holiday ？

他们将去伦敦度假吗？

Must I stay here now?

我现在必须待在这里吗？

注意：

①一般疑问句的答语通常用 yes 作肯定回答，用 no 作否定回答。

— Is he going to Guangzhou next week?

— Yes, he is. / No, he isn"t.

②有时，一般疑问句的答语不用 yes 或 no 来回答，而用其他一些词语

— May I use your pen ？

我可以借用一下你的钢笔吗？

— Certainly. Here you are.
