初中英语高频考点从句中When和While的差别使用

在英语从句的学习中，对When和While的使用，好多同学都不清楚二者到底有什么区别，不知道怎么使用。但是它又是初中英语经常出现的考察对象，时常出现于各种考题中，这就要大家去区分好他们，引起重视。现举例说明一下：

1.When“这时，突然”

While“而，却”(表示两者对比)

如：

We were about to start when it began to rain

I was walking home when I saw a strange light in the sky

He likes tea, while I like coffee

She is good at math, while I"m good at English

2.主句是短暂动作，从句是持续进行的，When和while都可以。

主包是持续进行的，从句也在同时进行，就用 while

如：

I met him when/while I was walking in the park.

They were singing while we were dancing.
