I’m going to buy some books.

There’re some students on the playground.

There are some mistakes in your homework.

I’m not going to buy any books.

There aren’t any students on the playground.

Do you have any friends here?

Have you got any money?

Is there any cookies in the box?

Would you like.....?

A: Would you like some tea?

B: Yes, please.

Can I have …… ?

A: Can I have some tea, please?

B: Yes.

A: Can you lend me some money?

B: Sure. How much do you need?

I didn’t take any boos, but Jack took some. (= some books)

You can have some tea, but I don’t want any. (= any tea)

I’ve just bought some sweets. Would you like some? (= some sweets)

‘Are there any students in the classroom?’ ‘Yes, there are some .’ (= some students)

something / somebody (or someone)

I saw somebody (or someone).

Would you like something to eat?

anything / anybody (or anyone)
