1.He worked no more thana week，so he could get not more than 100 yuan.

他只干了一个星期，因此他至多能得到一百元。

说明：no more than 后接基数词相当于 only， 意为“仅仅”，“只有”， “ no +形容词比较级+ than”比较两件事物时，含有与其中的形容词不及或相反的意义。 not more than 后跟基数词，相当于 at most， 意为“至多”，“不超过”，含有“至多或许还会少于此项目”之意. “not +形容词比较级 + than”比较两件事物时，含有与其中的形容词相同的属性.

2.The hero saved the boy’s life out of the burning library at the cost ofhos own, which was put up at a cost of one million dollars last year.
