英语翻译方法小结

1、顺译法

按照SLT语序翻译被动句

Last years the region was invited by the worst flood in 100 year.

去年该地区遭遇了一个世纪以来最为严重的洪涝灾害。

The credit system in Amercian was first adopt by Hravard University in 1872.

美国的学分制是1872年在哈佛大学自先实施的。

2、转移法

将SLT中的某个成分译成其他成分。

Those towering peaks are only to be scaled by the most claring那些高耸的山峰，只有最勇敢的人才能攀登。

The advent of numerial control was predicated by many to be the end of copying .许多人曾经预言，数控技术的出现将是仿形加工工艺的终结。

3、增补法

Do not be suprised if you are offered milk coffee,or soda with a meal.

用餐时如果人家给你牛奶，咖啡、汽水，你不用惊讶。

增词法

在译文中增加虽无其词而有其意的词语甚至句子。
