In autumn, everything changes. Leaves turn brown, red or yellow and start falling from the trees. It is nice to go on a picnic at this time of year because the weather is cool and dry. Winter is often cold and snowy. Do you know why children love winter? That is because they love to play in the snow. It is interesting to make snowmen. People usually spend time with their relatives during the Spring Festival.

注释：

1. Start 表示 开始做某事， 后面可以搭配动词不定式或者现在分词， 也就是说，有start to do sth 和 start doing sth 这样的形式，这两个词组的区别不大。

2. get green 表示“变绿了”

get 有“得到”的意思，后面加名词。

例如：得到一朵小花：_____________________; 得到很多钱：______________________

get 还可以表示“变得……“ 后面加形容词。

例如：变成棕色 ________________________; 变得生气 ： _________________________.

3. It is exciting to take a trip in spring.

这里有一个很重要的句型。It is + 形容词 +（for 或者 of sb. ）to do sth.

翻译：在很热的天气里，吃冰淇淋是一个很舒服的事情。

4. That is because …… 后面接从句，表示“那是因为……”
