具体各类时态的用法
（一）一般现在时
①“主将从现”（时间、条件、让步状语从句）
If we don"t act now to protect environment, we"ll live to regret it.
②按时间、时间表进行的，用一般现在时
Look at the time table. Hurry up! Flight 4024takes off at 18:20.
补充：
-来来去去：come; arrive; go; leave
-三开始三结束：begin; start; take off; stop; end; finish
（二）一般过去时
①过去发生的动作虽有先后顺序，但只要用and 连接，则视为并列结构
The professorput one finger in his mouth, tasted it and smiled with satisfication.
②虚拟语气
-It is high time that + 句子（一般过去时）
-If 对现在或将来假设， 从句用一般过去时
-wish 对现在假设，用一般过去时
-If only……要是……就好了 用一般过去时
（三）一般将来时
①be about to=be on the point of 就要，马上就（不与时间状语连用）
The train is about to start.
②be to do 将要
-was/were to have done （过去）本打算做却未做
We were to have told you, but you were not in.
-be to do 应该
What"s to be done? 应该怎么办？
-be to do 注定
The plan is to be a failure.
③祈使句+ and/ or + 一般将来时
Work hard, and you will got good grades.
（四）现在完成时
①since +点时间 for + 段时间
②标志词： lately; recently; on the past/ last few years; over the years; so far=up to now=until now; already; yet; ever; never; twice; just
③常考句型：
i) It/ That/ This is the first time that+ 现在完成时
ii) It is +adj. 最高级+n.+现在完成时
It is the best film that I have ever seen.
iii) 表示时间长度可用一般现在时表将来
It is six years since I came here.
（五）过去完成时
①标志词: by; by the time; by the end of; until; when; before

intend had intended to do sth.打算做而未做
We had intendedto come to see you, but my mother asked me for a help.
③常考句式：
i) hardly......when...... no sooner......when......
Hardly had I go home when the rain poured down.
ii) It was +段时间+since +过去完成时
It was ten years since we had had such a wounderful time.
iii) It was the first time +过去完成时
（六）将来完成时
by/ by the end of +将来的时间
-I hear that Jason is planning to buy a car.
-I know. By next month, he will have savedenough for a used one.
（七）现在进行时
①现在进行时表将来
go; leave; arrive; come; start; begin; run out
②these days
be always doing=be constantly doing=be continually doing 均表示一直做某事
③-感官 look； feel; taste; smell; sound; hear无进行时
-存在或拥有 have; oven; possess; belong to; exist; remain; stay无进行时
-认为 think; belief; knoe; understand; want 无进行时
（八）过去将来时
①would/ should do
②-if 引导的虚拟语气，主句用过去式、现在时，从句用过去将来时
-wish表示将来时，从句用过去将来时
-含蓄条件句，主句用现在时、将来时，从句用过去将来时
（九）现在完成进行时
① have been doing 一直在做某事
-Excuse me, which movie are you waiting for?
-The new Star Wars, we have been waitinghere for more than two hours.
②现在完成时与现在完成进行时
i)现在完成时强调结果或影响，现在完成进行时强调动作的持续
ii)现在完成进行时强调动作的反复性
iii)现在完成进行时有一种感情色彩
I have been waiting for you for 3 hours.
I have waited for you for 3 hours.
③过去完成进行时
Wehad been waiting for the teacher for almost an hour when the president came to keep up patient.
